Domaine des Étangs in Massignac, Charente
Nestled at the heart of Charente, the Domaine des Etangs is part of the network of large farms and estates involved in agroecology. It is home to a one-of-a-kind five-star hotel as it is at the heart of a property spanning almost 1,000 hectares, with meadows, a forest, a network of pools harbouring a rich biodiversity, and a large permaculture vegetable garden. The Estate also includes a contemporary art space in resonance with nature and the elements.
Guided tour: Saturday 11 September at 2 pm
Guided tour of the outdoor works of art and discovery of nature and agriculture at the Estate, followed by a guided tour of the organic permaculture vegetable garden. Lastly, the participants who would like to do so, are free to visit the exhibition "From the ground to the sun" by Tomas Saraceno.
